My name is Trina Scarrow, I am a Chiropodist in Guelph and Milton. I am a member in good standing with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario and the Canadian Federation of Podiatric Medicine. I served on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Federation of Podiatric Medicine 2015 – 2021. I am also a member in good standing with the Ontario Society of Chiropodists.
I am a Foot Specialist providing comprehensive podiatry services for almost all foot problems and I am committed to the highest standard of safe, competent, ethical and quality foot care.
I am dedicated to improving your your foot health and I work diligently to provide the best possible care.
Trina Scarrow has over 24 years of experience working in the medical foot care field. She graduated from the Ontario Chiropody Program at The Michener Institute of Education at UHN (University Health Network and formerly the Michener Institute for Applied Health Sciences), in 2000, after completing her undergraduate degree in biology at The University of Western Ontario.
During her education, she completed full clinical rotations at The Toronto General Hospital and Hamilton Health Sciences Chedoke Hospital, as well as spent some time serving the diabetes chiropody centre at McMaster Hospital. During this time, she spent 5 years working in the retail footwear industry with fashion, comfort and athletic footwear – so she knows shoes.
After graduating, she practiced in the public as well as the private sector. She held staff positions at the Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital and Woolwich Community Health Center for a number of years. She also has experience at private clinics in Oakville and Hamilton.
Currently, Trina balances her time between work and family. She is the mom of two kids age 17 and 20 and is the owner of Custom Foot Clinic & Orthotic Centre in Guelph and Milton.
Active runner and fitness enthusiast:
I have completed 7 full and over 30 half marathons, plus many other events of varying types and lengths. This year will be was a busy year, focusing on my lifetime goal of completing all 6 of the Abbott World Marathon Majors and becoming a “six star finisher”. October 2024 brings a return to the Chicago Marathon to participate in the warm up run, support my running partner and to participate as a volunteer at the starting line for the full marathon. February 2025 will be a return to RunDisney, for the Fairytale challenge at the Disney Princess Half Marathon weekend.
In January 2024 I completed the “Dopey Challenge” at Walt Disney World Marathon weekend in Florida – a 4 day race series consisting of back-to-back 5k, 10k, half-marathon and full marathon races. In April 2024 I travelled to London, England for their World Major Marathon, for the “4th Abbott star.” In 2022 I ran the Berlin marathon. In 2018 I completed the Chicago Marathon as part of team RMHC, and raised over $2000 for Ronald McDonald House Children’s Charity. Previously in 2017, I completed the Toronto Waterfront Marathon and the New York City Marathon. I was very proud to be part of a small group of participants selected to represent Canada in the New York City Marathon Opening Ceremonies.
